A lot of us are not aware of what coral reef does for the earth and assume they are just beautiful creatures. Coral reefs saves Earth and its people in many different ways such preventing erosion, loss of sea lives, and acting as buffer to waves, storms and floods. However, with developments we make along the shorelines and thoughtless pollution humans create put coral reefs in danger. I want to relay the message to people about what we can do to save them. It may not be as big as stopping developments, but small things we can practice. For example, recycling plastics we use or using reef-safe sunscreen when we visit our beautiful ocean. when we all practice small things we can, I don't doubt that will be able to enjoy the beauty the Mother Nature gifted us for the generations to come.
