Since 2004, Dr. Agnes Benet has been a founding member and manager of Consultancy PROGEM, which does environmental studies monitoring Marine Protected Areas, focusing on the study of marine mammals, coral reefs and climate change, and been involved in the development of management plans and the organization of local international conferences, among other things. In 2005 she earned her High Degree from the Ecole Pratiwue des Hautes Estudes, University of Paris IV Sorbonne specializing in coral reef management. In 2010 she earned her PhD in oceanography and marine environment focusing on the development of costal areas and island environmental impacts of global change from the university of French Polynesia.
