Dr. Mohamed Faisal, DVM, PhD, Dr. Honoris Causa is a Professor of Aquatic Animal Medicine and Principal Investigator of the Aquatic Animal Health Laboratory at Michigan State University. He authored and coauthored over 400 peer-reviewed publications. He received several honors and awards the last of which is the Snieszko Career Award of the American Fishery Society.
