Bio
Grace recently completed a Masters of Science, majoring in Coral Reef Ecology, from James Cook University, Townsville, Australia. She is also a PADI Dive Master and, prior to returning to postgraduate studies, she worked for two years as the Science Coordinator for Global Vision International's Seychelles marine conservation expedition. Grace lead a team of international volunteers in surveys of the inner coastal reefs of Seychelles, collaborating with local NGOs and governmental bodies to collect data to strengthen their knowledge of the marine ecosystem and lead to better conservation decisions for the small island nation. During the expedition, Grace works alongside Andrew Bruckner and a team of reef scientists to survey the northern Great Barrier Reef. Her specific role involves surveying the diversity and health of coral species at sites.
