Julie Hartup is currently finishing up her master’s at the University of Guam researching the Guam manta ray population and multi-fish species spawning aggregations. Julie documented a new feeding behavior of Guam manta rays targeting fish spawning aggregations to feed off fish eggs. On this cruise she is assisting Steve Lindfield in fish species, abundance and size measurements using stereo-video.
