Malakai Finau commenced working in the environment department in 2005. In 2006, he received a certificate of training from Japan for Leadership in Marine Management. He is currently working as the Officer in Charge for MLECCNR, and looks forward to sharing vital information on coral reefs as 60% of Ha’apai relies on coral reefs for food and protection from storms.
