Bio

Nacor is a biologist with emphasis in Marine Biology from the Universidad del Valle; he is finishing his Master's degree thesis at the National University of Colombia. Nacor has worked at CORALINA since 2004 where he was part of the team that monitors the marine and coastal ecosystems, including coral reefs, seagrass beds, beaches, etc., of the Seaflower Biosphere Reserve. He has deepened his knowledge of reef fish and participated in different expeditions in all areas of San Andrés Archipelago (Bolivar, Albuquerque, San Andres, Providencia, Quitasueño, Serrana, Roncador, Serranilla, Bajo Alicia y Bajo Nuevo between 2005 and 2011). He continues to work on the environmental assessment of ecosystems, and is currently the coordinator of Protected Areas and Biodiversity Project of CORALINA.
