Bio
Wade Fairley is a multi award-winning cameraman and producer based in Tasmania, Australia and Marovo Lagoon, Solomon Islands. With over two decades of experience as an adventure, science and natural history filmmaker, and cameraman, his work has taken him to locations as diverse as coral reefs to over-wintering in Antarctica. As well a successful background in high end broadcast and commercial work for clients such as Discovery Channel, National Geographic and the acclaimed BBC Natural History Unit, Wade is also an active campaigner for using visual media as an awareness tool in developing regions of the world and he founded a production organisation ‘LookLearn Media’ to create and distribute awareness media in image-oriented rural societies on themes about natural resource management and food security.
