The Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation was inspired by meeting the people of the Lau province of Fiji and discussing many of the issues of coral reef conservation that affect the lives of the fishermen and local people. The Foundation was warmly received in many schools and village halls and has made a lasting friendship with the region that will hopefully benefit coral conservation into the future.
